Simple accessories, symmetry and a neutral color palette make for an uncluttered work space in this week’s Take 3 Design Tips.

Add Sparkle: An over-scale chrome task lamp provides practical lighting, whilst adding sparkle and interest to the neutral palette.
Seeing Double: Whenever a space is at risk of feeling cluttered (offices’ being a prime offender!), adding symmetry (here in the bookends and frames) will help to calm the space by creating order.
Classic Profile: The desk’s profile and the bistro style chair are both classic design profiles, albeit from different centuries. Using contemporary black on the chair frame grounds the vignette and ties it in to the bookends.
I LOVE: The dog bookends – a sophisticated, yet whimsical personal touch when rendered in cast iron.
Could you keep your office this tidy?
